Enrique de la Osa Crespo

Enrique de la Osa Crespo is a Cuban photographer and photojournalist. He studied at the José Marti International Institute of Journalism, Havana, Cuba, from 1999 to 2002. He worked for the Spanish news agency EFE from 2003 to 2005 and the International News Agency,Thomson Reuters, from 2005 to 2016. His images have appeared in: The New York Times, The Washington Post, Newsweek, LA Times, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Time magazine, Paris Match, Sunday Times, The Atlantic, USA Today, and other newspapers and magazines. He has covered sport events in Cuba, as well as presidential visits, fashion, and other important relevant news events. He was specially assigned to cover the presidential elections in Nicaragua in 2011. He traveled to the United States in 2014 to work on a special story about the 20th anniversary of the Guantanamo Bay Cuban exodus of 1994, known as La Crisis de los Balseros. De la Osa has worked as Director of photography and cameraman in documentaries, spots for television and other mediasources. Now he is a freelance photographer, photojournalist, editor and video maker​.
